Jennifer Armhold

Jennifer moved to Hawaii in 2016 alone with a duffle bag and a desire to return to the ocean after spending 8 years in Texas painting murals.
She quickly found a love to turning broken surfboards and salvaged materials into fine art. She was inspired by enchanting sunsets and the many different personalities of surf in Hawaii. The intention of her work is to evoke joy. Salvaged materials are used as her medium to encourage consumers to rethink their tendency to seek new materials in a society in which we find ourselves with such abundance.
